Talk Like a Pirate Day 2010
September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day! Unfortunately, it's a Sunday this year. It is unfortunate because every year I see a man walking to the Metro in full pirate gear. This year, it will be a weekend so I may miss him. I'll try to get some video of Little Miss talking like a pirate. When I ask her what a pirate says, she says "ARRRRRR". It's one of the cutest things ever.

I LOVE Talk Like a Pirate Day. A few years ago, I set up a treasure hunt for the guys that work in the Public Works Department. Brought in a black cake with a skull and crossbones. It was great!
I'm sorry you won't get to see the guy dressed up... although, maybe he'll ride the Metro just for fun anyway :)
