On Friday, I had a lazy night. We just had some leftovers for dinner and watched a DVD. Little Miss gave us some trouble going to bed, but I told her we were going to a party on Saturday. She argued that she didn't want to go to the party. I said we'd discuss it on Saturday.
On Saturday, we were woken by Little Miss running into the bedroom with her pajamas half undone and off. "I need to get dressed to go to the party!" she exclaimed. I told her to go pick something out so she ran back to her room. She ran back into our room with a t-shirt and underpants. She claimed she couldn't find any pants. So, I got up and got her a pair of shorts. I've never seen her get dressed so quickly. She rushed so much that she couldn't get her arms through the shirt. Unfortunately, at this point, it was 8:30AM and the party wasn't until 2PM.
At 1PM, we did head out to our friends' house. We brought crab dip and had a lot of great fun and great food. After, I came home and Husband I vegged out again.
On Sunday, Husband woke up with Little Miss because Sunday is my day to sleep in a little. Then, we had a pancake breakfast. After brunch, Little Miss and I head to the Fair Oaks Mall with Mom to see the giant bubble. It has costumes and promotional items from the play Wicked (which I'm going to see in just a couple of weeks). Then, we hung out at my parents' house for a little while. Sister, Brother-in-Law, and Nephew came over later. Then, Little Miss and I left, hit the grocery store and came home to celebrate Father's Day. I'm making crab cakes, rice pilaf and stuffed tomatoes - all of Husband's favorites.
