Last Friday, I went out to Rosa Mexicano to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a fun night.
On Saturday, I woke up with Little Miss as it is my day to wake up with her. She ate 3 eggs for breakfast (1 of which was my breakfast). Then, she ate lunch and took a nap. Husband wasn't feeling well so I took Little Miss to Movie Club where we ate (a lot) and watched Rosemary's Baby. Little Miss happened to miss the nudity and violence in the beginning so that worked out. She was pretty good with the dogs and strangers or rather, she was noticeably better than she has been in the past. She was so good, she had no problem begging for cake from a new friend. It was cute if not completely rude.
On Sunday, Husband was worse. The In-Laws watched Little Miss while I went to Book Club. It was a nice afternoon during which we gossipped more than discussed the book, but that's par for the course. That night, I picked up some groceries, watched Little Miss eat a record amount of food and then bath and bed. Little Miss's vocabulary has been growing by leaps and bounds. She'll help me read to her all the time now. She's only used the potty once, but she does sit on it often. She can now dress and undress herself - though it takes her awhile to dress herself, but she's stubborn enough, er, independent enough to keep trying until she gets it.
