Movies Watched December 2011

  1. The Descendants
  2. The Vampire Diaries
  3. Love & Other Drugs
  4. The Big Bang Theory
  5. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
  6. Soul Surfer
A little bit of everything. I saw The Descendants and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in the theater. I watched Love & Other Drugs and Soul Surfer on cable. We rented The Big Bang Theory on disc, but we have also been watching the show syndicated on TBS. The Vampire Diaries was watched streaming on my nook – equal opportunity entertainment here.

Movies Watched in November 2011

  1. The Muppets
  2. The Walking Dead
  3. Hot Tub Time Machine
Little Miss and I attempted to see The Muppets in the theater. We missed the very end, but it was enough to count. I know The Walking Dead is a television show, but I’ve been watching through Netflix Instant Play and thought to make record of it. I enjoyed the first 6 episodes. We’ll see about the second season.  I actually kind of enjoyed Hot Tub Time Machine.  I watched it on Netflix Instant Play last night and it was a good relaxing-on-the-couch movie.  Everyone looked like they had fun and the clothes were hilarious.

Movies Watched October 2011

  1. Ides of March
With new television on air, there is a lot less movie watching. However, Husband and I went out for our anniversary and saw Ides of March. We really enjoyed it. So, quality over quantity this month.

Movies Watched in September 2011

  1. Push
  2. Fair Game
Hit or miss. I thought Push was a giant waste of time but full of potential but at least it was just a cable movie. I liked Fair Game (rental). It was more for Husband because he likes documentaries or movies based on real events. So, occasionally, he makes me learn stuff.

Movies Watched in August 2011

  1. It’s Kind of a Funny Story
  2. The Help
  3. Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Good movies this month. I saw It’s Kind of a Funny Story on cable. The other two I saw in the theater. I didn’t think any of them was a waste of time.

Movies Watched in May 2011

  1. Bridesmaids
  2. The Hangover Part II
  3. The Lincoln Lawyer
  4. Too Big Too Fail
I saw all those movies in the last week.  The rest of the time, I've been watching some TV on DVD which is why my rental list looks so low lately. The last is a HBO film.

Movies Watched in April 2011

  1. Kick-Ass
  2. Tangled
  3. Easy A
Not a bad movie month. I watched Kick-Ass just for Hit Girl's purple wig and want one so badly. I thoroughly enjoyed Tangled even if Little Miss wouldn't sit through even the opening with me. I enjoyed Easy A quite a bit and laughed out loud in parts. I had lowered expectations for Water for Elephants so wasn't terribly disappointed in it. The adorable elephant made up for a few of the shortcomings, I suppose.

Movies Watched in March 2011

  1. The Back-Up Plan
  2. Limitless
I didn't read or watch a lot of movies this month. I enjoyed The Back-Up Plan more than I expected. I enjoyed Limitless while watching, but it's a movie with which I find many issues upon leaving the theater. However, it was a great afternoon so I can't complain. Plus, it's 2 hours of Bradley Cooper - how can that be totally bad?

Movies Watched in February 2011

  1. Ramona and Beezus
  2. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest
  3. Red
  4. The Social Network
  5. Queer as Folk
  6. The Dresden Files
First, I should mention that you may have remembered that I saw The Social Network already. I rewatched on DVD. Second, the last two are TV on DVD. I watched the first disc of both series and am continuing with them. I’ve already seen most, if not all, of Queer as Folk and I’m watching The Dresden Files for the first time (I read the first book on which the series was based).

What We've Watched - 2020

I forgot a bunch!  So, just to round out 2020, here we go. Let's see... I watched Enola Holmes on Netflix which I found adorable, and I...
