Walk Out
Have you ever walked out on a movie? Entertainment Weekly compiled a list of movies from which viewers walked out. With movies being $10.50, I rarely walk out of a movie. Even when movies were cheap, I never walked out. However, my college roommate and I went to Dante's Peak. Our friends came in and told us to leave and join them across the way to see Scream instead. So, we did. Now, before you all start talking about jumping theaters, it was a special deal where the college rented out the movie theater. We got to see the current releases for like $5.00. The only catch was that the movies were at midnight. So, it wasn't a huge deal to skip out on a bad movie. Turned out, we almost walked out of Scream, too, but we stuck it out. I'm a big baby and that opening scene with Drew Barrymore creeped me out. Once I got past that, I was fine. I've seen bad movies before, but those were the only ones that I almost left.

The only movie I walked out on was The Piano with Holly Hunter. I couldn't deal with the finger scene and I left. I can take a lot in movies, but soemthing about that particular movie just made me get up and leave.
We rent movies that we don't watch all the way through. I figure that's different tho. :)
I walked out of "The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford". What a bad movie! It had fabulous critics, so DH and me decided to pay a babysitter and go out. It was extraordinary long and therefore extraordinary expensive.
I have to admit, that it might be a good movie concerning filming and techniques, but that's not what a movie is about for me.
