Seriously, though. This one classmate has been trouble since the first day of school. She's always telling Little Miss what to do or how to do things. We've talked it out, and Little Miss ignores most of what she says. To be petty, this girl is totally annoying, and her parents were totally annoying the very few times we've interacted, but apples rarely fall far from the tree.
Anyway, yesterday, this girl told Little Miss that another girl was cuter than she was. First of all, shut your face. Second of all, look who's talking. Third of all, that's just not nice. I kept the first two parts of that to myself when talking to Little Miss, but both of the girls she mentioned are cuter than she is no matter how you look at things. Little Miss told the teacher. She seemed ok. We told her there will always be people who aren't nice and say bad things. They do it because they're mean, jealous or just feel good when other people feel bad. She said she didn't believe her, but she also said her feelings were hurt. And then I wrapped her in bubble wrap and kept her home from school today. OK, I didn't, but I kind of wanted to.
I've never known any trouble that an hour's reading didn't assuage. Charles De Secondat (1689 - 1755)

Aww that makes me sad. Girls can be such bitches, even little girls. That's one of my fears about ever having a daughter.
