Little Miss told me that she was giving up chocolate for Lent. I waited for the punchline. So, Husband followed that by telling me she came home and had an M&M cookie and some other form of chocolate. Little Miss then says, "So, I'm giving up broccoli for Lent."
I do think, for 5, giving up chocolate for 4 hours is a pretty long time so that should count as something. I have no doubt she'll go the rest of the time without broccoli.
I've never known any trouble that an hour's reading didn't assuage. Charles De Secondat (1689 - 1755)
