Category: This Elevator is Too Small
I was luckily not involved in this story. Husband brought Little Miss down to the lobby of our building yesterday and, on the way back up, this encounter happened. Little Miss makes little observances about other people all the time. "Baby" if someone is holding a baby. "Groceries" if someone is holding groceries. So, yesterday, she pointed and said "water" to someone who was holding water. Then, she pointed to another man and said "purse" and pointed to his briefcase. Husband tried to explain that it was a briefcase and not a purse, but the damage was done. It seemed like everyone was amused at least.
