My Hero

I am as forward-thinking as the next person. However, when it comes to bugs/insects/creepy crawlies, I will be the one on my chair screaming like a little girl. So, when this gigantic prehistoric, flying cockroach cousin appeared on the INSIDE OF MY WINDOW at work, I may have screamed. I should also mention that I don't kill bugs. It makes me sad. Strangely, I have no problem with other people killing them for me. So, I had just convinced myself that the gigantic bug was on the outside when it flew (not towards me, but in my mind, it was attacking). At this point, I had squealed like four times making my one co-worker laugh because she knew exactly what was going on. My other co-worker came to my rescue and made it his mission to kill it. He did admit that it was a large bug at least. Little does he know that I would have screamed like that for a gnat and have. So, yes, I'm a giant leap back for strong women everywhere, but big thanks to my heroic co-worker.
