Her Fearful Symmetry
Last night, a friend and I went to Borders to see Audrey Niffenegger. It was a fun night out. I was glad I got to go. The book, Her Fearful Symmetry looks interesting. I know it hasn't been selling very well, but I enjoyed her excerpt she read and look forward to reading it. I was disappointed that there weren't many who showed up for the booksigning, but on the other hand, I was second in line to get my book signed. I feel like writing and reading are really individual activities so it's nice when they can be combined to be social events. I try to go to as many booksignings as I can to support the authors and booksellers. I can't say I see reading this book this month and perhaps next month either. However, I will be reading it. Ghost stories usually scare me, but this seems like a friendly ghost so I'm intrigued. If anybody else has read it, what do you think?
