Feels Like Home to Me

Somethin’ in your eyes makes me wanna lose myself
Makes me wanna lose myself in your arms
There’s somethin’ in your voice makes my heart beat fast
Hope this feelin’ lasts the rest of my life - Randy Newman

Everyone knows I'm one of the most indecisive people on the planet. However, I didn't really change my mind much when it came to planning the wedding. I think it's because I was a blank slate. I had no expectations, nothing I was wanting specifically. I knew what colors I wanted and everything else was relatively flexible. Because it was long distance and before the Internet was as user-friendly as it is now, most of the decisions stuck after we made them. I did change the flower scheme once. I can't say I ever loved the flowers, but flowers really weren't important to me. The flowers on the cake were special but other than that, flowers were just decoration. I just knew what style of bouquet I wanted.

Regardless, the one screw up was with the church programs. I chose the relatively inexpensive design above because I wanted a program to follow the church service, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money. When we went to pick them up, they weren't quite right. Somehow they printed the programs below. Now, the programs were printed correctly on a nicer stock, with gold foil, and were embossed but not necessarily my style. They would work if necessary. However, the vendor reprinted at no cost and let us keep both designs. So, we had a LOT of programs, and I kept both for the scrapbook.
