Weekend Update - Family Fun

On Friday, we picked up Baby early and went to visit friends. We stayed out way too late and (I) drank way too much. We went home around 1:30AM. Baby was great and slept in her stroller while we had fun. I went to put Baby to bed and we fell asleep on the floor. We stayed there until Husband came to put both of us to bed. So, that made for an interesting Saturday morning.

On Saturday, we had plans with Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law. We met at
Butler's Orchard. The weather was beautiful. We took a great photo of Baby next to a pumpkin and, as I clicked the photo, realized Baby only had one shoe. We had both when we got out of the car. Sister-in-Law found the shoe so we were good to go. We made fairly quick work of finding a pumpkin. After we were done at the patch, we had to take a brief stop into the store.

Last time we went to this orchard, I found really yummy mulled cider spices, but I did not find any this year. I did manage to find other goodies. I found All-American Apple Pie popcorn (like caramel corn but we dried apples, graham crackers and apple pie spice), chocolate-covered pretzels, and cider. I love cider. I know cider is available all year round now, but it's better in the Fall.

On Saturday night, Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law came over for dinner. We made a lot of food. This is good because Husband is going out of town this week so maybe I won't have to cook now. I don't know who I'm kidding. I wouldn't have cooked anyway! Then, we hung out and watched
Saturday Night Live. It was the first time I had watched without fast forwarding so I was a little disappointed. I do think Adele did a good job. I'm not sure if I love her or not, but I think her sound and songs are unique and sometimes that's worth it right there.

On Sunday, Baby and I escaped football and went to Mom and Dad's house. Baby got into almost everything. She took a nap on the way out there (on top of a very long morning nap). Then, Sister and Nephew came over. Sister and I snuck out to go shopping while the kids bonded with their grandparents and each other. We hit some really good sales. I picked up a present for someone else as well as two dresses for myself. Then, we stayed for dinner. Later, we went home. Baby was a great sleeper all weekend - probably because we had her on the run the entire time.

Next weekend's update will be fun. It will be Baby's first birthday party! Then, the following weekend is Halloween. So, busy time, but (hopefully) lots of fun photos.

The coat was from Old Navy. It was 30% off last week. :) I actually wanted the khaki one, but it was only in toddler sizes. The pink worked out. It was definitely more photogenic.

I hope you didn't tell Jackie that you were in Germantown. Or, if you did, you got to see her, too. You know how she gets fired up about that stuff!

What We've Watched - 2020

I forgot a bunch!  So, just to round out 2020, here we go. Let's see... I watched Enola Holmes on Netflix which I found adorable, and I...
